The bike short part isn't super tight at the bottom so they do ride up your thigh as you run but I don't find it uncomfortable. But really, I think that looks more flattering than many shorts. If your thighs are close together, a lot of shorts start riding up and it looks terrible, even if you are reasonably thin.
