It was a rental and we were moving the next week, but we told the landlord and were basically told to F*** off. We also have vinyl siding and where we heard them was between the siding and the house so I really hope they haven't just eaten the whole house! I so don't want to be there when they start opening stuff out but have a feeling I'll be the one! Such a relief to get it done no matter the cost. I can't really remember but I think it was $1000 and it depended on the size of our house. Our pest control guy found it (we never heard any sounds) and he said that it looks like years worth of damage. We had only owned the house for a year so we called our inspector, told him that there was years worth of termite damage that went unnoticed when he did his inspection and he sent out his pest guy. We investigated expecting it was maybe a mouse or squirrel outside, but after listening / googling I'm 100% sure it is actually termite(s) in our kitchen windowsill! I'm totally freaking out / googling is grossing me out.</p> <p>Have you had termites? What the heck do you do to get rid of them / how much did it cost? I already emailed a pest guy but it's 10pm here so nothing's happening tonight, and my skin is crawling! </p>
