It actually turned out to be a dreadful and frustrating 6 months, because LO wasn't a fan of pureed solid food (many times I would make a ton of food, and he won't even eat a bite, and most of them expensive organic stuff goes into trash. Sigh), and he drank less milk together. Ended up we were worried and we went to see a GI specialist and nutritionist. It was also the end of breastfeeding for us (breastfeeding ended in about 2-3 months after solids). And did I mention about the MESS I had to deal with, he smeared his food on his face, and throwing food on the floor deliberately around 1 year old?</p> <p>Sorry to scare you, but I did not enjoy that 6 months at all! It just felt really overwhelming. But it goes so slow that you don't have to figure everything out right away. We are over a month in and he probably hasn't eaten more than a tablespoon! And his fluid intake is way higher, like 5+ ounces. We do a pouch at dinner a couple times a week. I remember feeling like I had just gotten a handle on his schedule and bottle feeding and we were in a good routine and I was terrified of f-ing with it!!</p> <p>Just ease into it, hopefully the transition will go smoothly!
