I need to sit down with my mom and figure out a menu. I'll let her do the turkey &amp; stuffing, because I don't know how, ha....she's always done it! I'll probably take on a sweet potato dish, soup, and a dessert. I used to always make pies, and this year my dad finally got the nerve to tell me he's not a pie guy, so....I dunno. Maybe some sort of bread pudding? Cheesecake? We we're tired of driving all over the place and have hosted forever. This is our 8th year. I've been emailing D's aunt about the menu (she always hosts) and we're trying to figure out what it's missing. </p> <p>I'll also just be a spare set of hands for her. Sometimes it's bigger, sometimes just my husband, me, my MIL (and of course DD). Last year I was hugely pregnant and took it easy - this year I am excited to go all out! I also bring the annual weirdo vegetarian dish no one touches (last year's was quinoa with cranberries), and a dessert (also varies each year, last year was a chocolate cake, year before was cherry pie).<br /> I actually really like making stuff and "contributing" - my sister never does, she just shows up to eat! :)</p> <p>DH's parents live in our state now, so I'm not sure what the plan is this year.
