When ignored, he continued to talk loudly to his companions about what a bad mom I was. It took all my willpower not to turn around and tell him that unless he planned to come over and deal with night feedings, diapers, laundry, and pay for her college and a wedding, he could shove it. There is no way that my kiddo was cold or needed a hat. She had on long sleeves, pants, socks, and was in the beco all snuggled up to me. We were both sweating when we got home. It's like her main thing - she's big into babies wearing hats! She was wearing pants, long sleeves, a hat, a minky blanket and there was one of those car seat covers over her. </p> <p>It was 113 degrees that day. That poor baby was SWEATING. </p> <p>The corpsman (who is like a tech in a navy hospital and just takes the vitals) was going back and forth with the mom that it was too hot for so much clothes and she kept saying, "she's a NEWBORN! they NEED all this." So true. Wagon Jr. was born on the coldest day of the year so he had a hat on his head pretty much 24/7. She said "I did.. but I don't know what they could have been thinking! that baby needs a hat!!! sometimes when baby's are born they are so cold they need a hat and an incubator. I can't believe she didn't have a hat on him!!" </p> <p>It was so funny because I know there's been threads on here about older people always thinking baby's are cold.. and she prooved that to be true!! haha </p>
