@Mrs. Pickles: congrats! It is terrifying but many women m/c and go onto having a healthy baby. That's what I keep telling myself - I'm newly pregnant and went through a m/c last cycle. Good luck!!

Thank you everyone for your kind words and pieces of wisdom.
I'm not sharing my pregnancy with anyone but my husband and best friend because of our prior m/c.
It feels really good to be able to share it with you all knowing that you may have experienced some of the same feelings and thoughts that I am now.
I took another test and the line was darker, but I just had to go a digital since it's very firm ... yes pregnant or no not pregnant. It definitely said pregnant so I'm hoping that is a good sign. Sending you all hugs

Welcome and congratulations! "I'm thrilled, terrified, and in a little bit of denial." Yep that pretty much describes it to a T! For me, it got a little easier with every "milestone" I passed- getting past the point of my mc, hearing the heartbeat, hitting X number of weeks, etc. Hope it gets easier for you too, and you are in good company here on the pregnancy after loss board

I was TERRIFIED. That fear never really went away, but.it did fade. I decided that every baby needed to be celebrated and tried to remind myself daily that today, I was pregnant.

Huge congratulations, calming vibes, and stickiness your way. I think there is also a pregnancy after loss board on here somewhere. Hope you can find peace

@Mrs. Pickles: yep, I was certain I'd need treatments after a loss at 6w when I was already advanced maternal age. The loss of time trying for that 1st +, plus the setback of losing the baby & having to start all over again was really hard. Then in Aug when I saw my next + hpt I was stunned & thrilled & scared.

Congratulations to you & sending you soooo much sticky dust that this baby IS meant to be for you. :goodluck:

Hello Everyone,
I'm new here but have been lurking around since Hellobee began.
I'm lucky enough to have an awesome LO, but miscarried around his second birthday. We were thrilled to have another but it wasn't meant to be.
We decided to continue to try until his fourth birthday. I really had resigned myself to having an only child, I'm ok with the idea and we really are so lucky to have a wonderful child.
I've been feeling odd these past few days and after a year of trying I thought "I couldn't be pregnant.. could I?"
And then there it was… that faint blue plus sign.
I'm thrilled, terrified, and in a little bit of denial. It's just a false positive or the test was wrong?
Curious to see how the bees out there dealt with their initial pregnancy after a loss. Did you think it wasn't going to happen again?
