Lots of new ideas to freshen up our bedtime routines.</p> <p>At bedtime each of my two girls has a song incorporating their names I sing to them (DD1has made me edit the parts of hers that say baby to say big girl). DH sings "You are My Sunshine." DD1 now complains if I sing that or if DH sings it to DD2 though, so we need to get him a new song for DD2</p> <p>@mrbee: I never thought of singing LOVE as ax lullaby - that's a great one! We might have to try that as DD2's daddy song.</p> <p>@Mrs. Tiger: ha! Edelweiss is the big one, and Raindrops on Roses (slower than usual). My mom sang me those a lot when I was little. Oh My Darlin was a common one too, just more slowly than normal as well. It's long so it kept me going through better when a baby was really fighting sleep and I was getting frustrated.
