We got sent to the emergency room awhile back by an off-hours ped, and 4 hours later, strep diagnosis and $750 bill (we do have high deductible plan); reallllllly? Our 3 1/2 year old had to get stitches in her forehead last month, we went to the ER because our ped's office said with the location and depth of the cut, they would be better suited. WE got our EOB in the mail and it is costing us the same as my C-section! :shocked: </p> <p>I'm shocked, they considered the stitches surgery, so for our 1 hour visit to the ER, we are leaving with an over $700 bill (after insurance.) we have really good insurance too so that's not the problem. Oye! </p>
