Mums too tired for anything interesting, let's just lie here on this couch a minute. My DD is sometimes happiest helping me with tasks around the house, other times likes to decompress for a while with the iPad (screen time, that's another story). Sometimes things get out of hand and boredom leads to destructive play, like yesterday was taking books off the shelf and laying them down as a path and walking on them. Raincoats and a walk around the neighborhood. My kids like to spray glass and the floor and other hard surfaces with a little bottle of vinegar and water and then wipe it with a rag. Sometimes we do long bubble baths or finger paint the tub. We eo a lot of playdoh. How about making yourself a new pandora station? Even if it's just a walk to the mail box or something. LO is on spring break but yet we are so bored and I find myself struggling to think of things to do. The weather here has been cold, and sometimes rainy so that's not helping. It's a good 20 minute drive to get to anywhere like stores, to even just walk around. </p> <p>How do you stay entertained all day without constantly being on the go? That's just not an option, daily, for us. </p>
