I'm an avid reader, but I couldn't get into The Great Gatsby at all. I understand it "captures an era" but I really disliked the characters, especially Daisy. I just finished it and I am curious to see what other people's take on it is.</p> <p>I enjoyed it, I liked the peek into life during that time and the way all the characters were tied together but I feel like I am missing something. What makes this book exceptional? </p>
