I had such awful nerves day-of that I didn't ever fully unwind until later. We did a day-after photo shoot, so walking around the park, in my wedding dress, with my husband was just the best. I remember Hubs driving, and I was leaning back in the passenger seat with a huge smile on my face just remembering how special the day before was. It was an unreal happiness I've never experienced before. But I imagine the birth of our daughter will porbably be even more amazing. I think the happiest day of my life was a date my husband and I went on probably three weeks into our relationship. We were SO. IN. LOVE. and so freaking happy. We went to an Obama rally (we were stereotypical college kids), then we went to get our favorite drinks at Starbucks (ZOMG we love the same thing!), went to the zoo, went to the mall, and then went to dinner. After dinner, we professed our love to each other in the car and DH cried. I feel like as you go through life big events end up topping previous ones, but they can still be among your happiest if that makes any sense.</p> <p>First, it was when I graduated college because I was the first person in my family to go to and graduate college. Up until that point, it was the happiest day of my life. Then, when I got married, that was the happiest day in my life.
