I just don't understand these people setting off huge fireworks in crowded residential neighborhoods! At the same time, it's not like fireworks are quiet or discreet-- why should you have to call the police? How do they not know already and just do something about it?? </p> <p>I'd probably have slightly more patience with them if it weren't for the fact that my dogs FREAKS out over them, which makes them so much more annoying. Lots of people are apparently still celebrating the holiday. We can hear neighbors two streets over having a party, and they're setting off fireworks. Like, real, legitimate fireworks... That are going over my neighbors (across the streets house) and into my yard.</p> <p>These are the kind of fireworks you'd see at a 4th of July display, not the little puny ones you can buy on the side of the road.</p> <p>It's 11 at night. These kind of fireworks are illegal in our state, not to mention the fire hazard it poses. What if they hit someone's house?</p> <p>My husband called the police. Would you have done the same thing? We don't want to be party poopers but when firework shells are landing in your front yard.... </p>
