man-oh-man... i've got the fever... bad. we've been married a year and a half, and i would say the first year the dude was totally opposed to trying for another 2 or 3 years at least. then this summer he officially came down with the fever. we talk about it ALL the dang time, but know we're not financially ready. wish our circumstances were different, but we're learning the beautiful art of patience!

Whether my husband is baby crazy depends on the audience! I find that when we're alone, our discussions about having a baby are much more rational, e.g., we definitely don't want to start trying until X, Y and Z happens. But when we're around our friends or his coworkers (many of whom have recently had or are about to have babies), all that goes out the window, and he is like, let's have a baby now! But, only a year ago, the whole notion of having a baby totally freaked him out. It's fun to see the change in him!

We just got married this past spring and DH is DYING for a Little One! This December will be our first active/intentional/properly timed attempt at TTC. We are both so excited to see what happens! Hoping for some sticky baby dust over here. :)

Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!! I saw the cutest baby blanket the other day and wanted to show Mr. Bear, but decided against it. He's more relaxed about the talk now.

Last night we had dinner out with my family. My little sister had ballet practice and we were waiting on the check. My mom said to me and FI, "Can you grab Ava real quick and take her over to dance?" I'm like, "Yeah." FI goes and picks her up from behind (she's almost 8) and literally is carrying my giggling sister across the street to dance. Cutest. Thing. Ever.

We took her in and were getting her dance shoes on and the room was FULL of kids (and their siblings generally) and there was a baby boy in a carseat. FI bends over and is making faces with it, the baby is laughing and all that. We leave and he goes, "It's kind of cool to think about having one of those." Ha.

I want babies. But so does he! Yay! haha

The holidays gives ME baby fever...I think it's because of all the time we spend with family that makes me want to expand my own.

We spent Thanksgiving with some friends of mine... And their 4 year old daughter. Watching my husband twirl, tickle, and play with a four year old... SUCH a good thing that we are TTC now.

Hubs and I have been talking about it a lot lately since we are TTC. I'm in my two week wait and it's half over so we'll know next week, but he told me last night that he think this is our month. We'll see (but I hope that it is!)

We randomly saw cribs and other baby stuff at Sears, and I asked FI could he imagine shopping for a crib on black Friday!? He thought about it, and was like nope, let's just put money aside now so we don't have to fight the crowds! And every time we pass a toy store I bring up kids. Wait, this thread said is your SO talking about it haha. We're not ttc for another year since I'm still in law school buttt this time next year we could be starting to try is wild to think about!

@sorrycharlie: We were making our stockings and put our first names on it. Mr. Bear said something along the lines of "we will have to get rid of these one day.." I gave him a puzzled look. He asked why I made a face. I asked him what he meant and he said "because one day we'll have to make mommy and daddy stockings." D'aaaawwww.

I already had baby fever, but the holidays aren't helping! we're ttc right now, and today while DH was assembling our Christmas tree we both kept thinking about how next year this time, we might have a baby around! While I was shopping this weekend, too, I was looking at the "baby's first" Christmas things and toys. sigh..

@eeh: Aw. I know the feeling. I have problems with my cycle so I'm pretty certain it may take me awhile.

@redsmarties: Oh la la. ;) I probably would've made the drive. It's always fun practicing. Hah

He brought it up again this afternoon while we were shopping for Christmas decorations. I have no idea what to think, but I do enjoy listening to him and what he feels.

My husband tries not to mention it too much, because I'm so hung up on getting a BFP every cycle, that he doesn't want to contribute to my stress. But lately, he's been a lot more interested in my charts and things; I think he's just as baby-crazy as I am, but in a different way.
When I mentioned I got an "almost" positive on an OPK this afternoon (he's away until tomorrow), he asked if I would drive the 45 minutes to where he is so that we could...um...work on having a baby ;). I think it will only get worse around the holidays...but I like that he is showing his softer side.

Just in the last couple of days my husband has started to vocalize his desire to have a baby. He's worried about increasing the pressure on me to have a baby though so he tries really, really hard to keep it bottled up.

The past couple of nights have been interesting. Mr. Bear keeps mentioning trying to have a baby. He understands our financial situation and knows it'd be tough, but he really wants to have a baby right now. I know he's trying. He's been at me so much lately too!

I know we would make it work no matter what if I did become pregnant, but I'm more in shock that Mr. Bear has been so vocal about this lately. It really is nice to see him with an emotional side. ;)

Have any of your SOs been acting like this?!
