I'm hoping it will be nice enough to go to the touristy parts of town and just walk around. Even if they aren't into eating out, going out for a meal (on you guys) would be a nice way to just get out of the house and have some distractions. Maybe a movie? Sometimes she says things that are not so nice, and I'm usually shocked and left standing there like an idiot and I try to think of a comeback but end up not saying anything at all because I don't want any drama. </p> <p>So I busy myself with cooking! So far it's worked =) When it's summer, she goes out to the yard and weeds or looks around. Fine with me. Long time since you've seen them! I just spent 8 days with the inlaws at their house. We ran errands with MIL, went out to eat a few times and just chilled at home. It's probably bad to say but I'm so glad that I'm not headed home until Friday! The stress level in our house goes up 1000x when they are at our house. This will also be the first time we have seen them since our wedding in October, 2010. (yup, you read that right)</p> <p>My husband is planning on spending some time with his Dad in the house, getting some projects done. His Mom needs to be entertained. I'm not sure exactly what to do with his Mom while she's here. Take her to do my errands with me? Go grocery shopping? She doesn't shop at malls or specialty stores (she doesn't spend money) and they're not into eating out. It should be an interesting weekend!!</p> <p>What do you do with your in-laws when they come to visit? </p>
