When looking for a contractor one was supposed to come for an estimate. DH likes to be there so he could talk to them about what he wants done so he came home from work early, which meant he had to go in super early, and the guy never showed. Really? </p> <p>I have a toddler and new puppy who's not supposed to be active due to heartworm treatment so it's going to be interesting when we have all of the construction going on. The electrician said he would "be here in a bit" at 11 a.m. He showed up around 6 p.m. The worst of it is he is still here at 10:40 p.m.!!!!!!! And not just that, but he is outside drilling through the brick and being really loud! I had several "let's wrap this up" conversations and finally just went out and told him that I was worried that neighbors were going to upset with the noise. He said he was packing up, but now he's drilling again!! I'm trying to be assertive, but clearly failing. :sad: I'm cringing about what the neighbors think! (Luckily no babies on the block!) </p> <p>And this is just day 1. </p>
