We went to Mexico for a babymoon--my oldest was 3 and my (then) youngest was 19 months. We definitely talked every day (Facetime), and to be honest, I cried almost every single night at dinner. I went to the Middle East with my sister. It was long, but it was a once-in-a-lifetime thing and I love to travel. The kids were with DH or their grandparents or nanny the whole time, so I knew they were in good hands. I missed them a lot but unfortunately didn't get to talk to them much because of crappy wifi and time zones.</p> <p>Funnily enough, DH and I went to a cousin's wedding in wine country about a month later for four days annnnnd I didn't miss them much then. Too much fun finally getting some time away with DH!
