And the librarians are like family to me because my mom actually used to work there! I mentioned the library as an option to HR before and they were supposed to check into it for me. I have been told classrooms are not an option and there are no vacant offices. I didn't think of using an occupied office, that would work out great if a professor was in class while I needed to pump .... Soon, HR told us they needed it for "interviews" (which never, ever happened) so they kicked us out. Me and four other women pumped in a storage closet. We eventually got HR to build us cubicles so that we could pump two at a time and give us a fridge, but we had to threaten to go to our corporate HR first.<br /> My point is, hang in there, take it as far up the chain as you need to until they give you an adequate solution. This is super busy time for my job, I will not be able to pump in the room I have been using in my office after the 23rd. HR still hasn't found me a place to go on the 26th. Stressed. To. The. Max.</p> <p>Also, my horrible boss is gone, but while I was out on leave she apparently scheduled a student to makeup an exam this Wednesday (I pump in our exam room for now). She didn't tell me, so now I have nowhere to pump for my second session that day. Ugh.</p> <p>I totally get why some working women quit nursing/pumping. </p>
