This is EXACTLY what I was talking about in the other thread and why I think these boards need some moderation - because users feel the need to self-moderate to the extent of commenting on someone's thread simply to tell them that their thread is bad because it could make other people feel bad. And no one is even being talked badly about - we really can't say kind things we've noticed about others because it might make new people feel bad? When I first joined this site, seeing users that did obviously know each other made me want to be MORE involved and get to know people. Instead of complaining, might it be more productive to call out snaps to someone you don't know that well, rather than criticize whether or not this thread should even exist?
