Poor Kiddo! In addition to environmental allergies, food or animal allergies can cause stuffed up noses. Maybe she's allergic to something at daycare? I have a friend who is so allergic to cats that she can't even sit next to someone who owns a cat without becoming a sniffiling, watery-eyed mess.

Since October, it seems that my poor kid is constantly snotty. Thankfully it hasn't caused fevers or any major discomfort, so I assume it's just a combo of virus and allergies and picking stuff up at daycare, but we're putting saline and snot-sucking her nose daily and it just seems to never end. I thought we were finally on the down swing of it after Thanksgiving, and then Monday she woke up completely stuffed up again.

Have others had similar experiences? She's 2.5 and this is the first time we've seen something last this long (though it could be due to a move to a larger daycare in July). We already do all the common things - saline, steaming, humidifier if the humidity drops below 45%, and we've been giving her Zyrtec (my latest theory is allergies because it started up again as weather here in VA hit mid 70s out of nowhere). Any other ideas?
