It's bigger than it seems. I can fit quite a lot in there. I honestly am really happy with the City Mini. The carseat adaptor snaps in easy and you don't have to take it off when folding. It's really light (15lbs). It has a HUGE canopy, which is a major plus. Plus it has lots of extras to make it modular (running board, bassinet, pram, etc) and tons of accessories and add-ons. I love the rubbery handle, I find it really comfortable to hold. I really like the central brake system, so you only have to use one brake instead of two. The one-handed fold is great. Plus, if you buy from Buy Buy Baby, you can use a 20% coupon and it's only $200.</p> <p>I wanted a lightweight stroller with a decent basket, large canopy and was easy to fold/unfold and get in and out of my car. It totally fit the bill. I LOVE our 3-wheeled City Mini. The single front wheel makes it so much more maneuverable. BUT I have heard of older children who don't like it because their face is so close to the other seat. Wagon Jr. has never minded it and has even climbed in and fallen asleep in the rumble seat. So it works for us.</p> <p>We have a side by side double but it's so hard to maneuver (the bigger your kids are, the harder it is to maneuver!) so we just use the vista wherever we go. Like you, it's just for walks or the mall. I think jogger side by side doubles are easier to maneuver but we don't want to spend that $$$ if we don't use it for actual jogging!</p> <p>We got ours at 40% off with a friends and family discount and we got our rumble seat, infant adapter and piggyback board used off craigslist. I'd say give up on the no adapter thing-- most strollers that use an adapter for an infant carseat can keep the adapter on at all times. So it's not like you have to assemble the stroller + adapter every time you use the stroller. Also, I don't like the idea of two seats on a stroller at once (non-removable regular seat plus infant carseat on top of that). I love my uppababy vista but it definitely is heavy! But I didn't mind because I never had to carry it anywhere... just pull out of the trunk and put it back in. The adapter clicks in the same way the seat clicks in. You will only be using the infant adapter for a little while. My kids were out of the infant carseat at around 7 months because it was too heavy to lift in and out of the car with them in it. </p>
