It got up to 102.5 by the time we got to the doctor, and while that was scary, it was just a viral infection and we just had to ride it out. </p> <p>Tuesday, my husband goes to work and starts feeling bad. He's diabetic, so it's not good when he gets sick, as the illnesses affect him differently and often for longer. </p> <p>Wednesday, I develop a sore throat, but don't think much of it because I was too busy caring for the others. I knew something was up when getting adjusted at the chiropractor hurt a lot more than normal (usually, it's very relaxing). At this point, I've burned through a few sick days and I can tell that my boss isn't pleased. Thursday was more of the same, but I spiked a fever. It's possible that it was related to the virus we caught, but I pretty much felt like death even with taking extra-strength Tylenol. </p> <p>Friday, Hyla was well enough to send to daycare, which was good because I went downhill fast. Because she hadn't been nursing as well or efficiently since she couldn't breath, I developed Mastitis in my left breast. I literally thought I was going to pass out or vomit while I was trying to feed her. I was able to get antibiotics though, and I'm religiously taking them because that shizz hurts and I felt like crap. </p> <p>Fast forward to last night. My fever spiked again, getting as high as 102.9. It was the worst night of my life, worse than the night before I was diagnosed with the flu. It took all night for my temperature to come down, I was dizzy, nauseated, coughing so much. It finally got to a reasonable level at 4 this morning. Still a low-grade fever, but I feel mostly normal as long as I take Tylenol. </p> <p>We were supposed to go to a birthday party today, but that's out. I'm debating on whether or not to go to urgent care, but the one Closest to me has a terrible doctor (the same doctor who told me I was likely having an ectopic pregnancy and that I was irresponsible for seeing a midwife who did not do an early ultrasound). If I don't go today, I will definitely go to my PCP tomorrow. Hopefully, my boss will understand. </p> <p>I can't wait to feel well again. </p>
