LO is 13.5 months and this past week started going up to things he's not allowed to touch- outlets, oven, etc and saying "no,no,no". As long as I really meant it (stern voice, serious face, etc) he responded. If I only partly meant it (e.g. if he kept doing something I said no to and I wasn't willing to get up and remove him or the thing) then he ignored me. In the beginning responding to no usually meant crying because he didn't like it but he's started to accept it. I also try not to use "no" all the time and instead replace it with a variety of loud buzzer type of sounds I can make. She still thinks it's a game. She stops what she is doing, looks at me, but then laughs and does whatever she's doing anyway...</p> <p>When will she understand/obey the "no?" Anyone remember when it started working? </p>
