I mean really, people tell you 'sleep when the baby sleeps' and then they're at your freaking front door with no invitation? You can call them back when you're up for company and say you were napping when they came by earlier, and that in the future they should call YOU (not your ILs) so you can let them know when it's a good time for company.</p> <p>I know some people would feel rude doing this, but I don't think it's rude at all! No way I would have been able to have them there any longer, I was already annoyed. My ILs are watching my older son. Their other two kids drove down to spend the day. DH's grandparents also came by. And then his aunt and two daughters asked to stop by because they were in town today. </p> <p>No one asked us, they just asked my ILs. And I don't know why "let's give them at least a few hours at home before company" would've been so hard. </p> <p>Also, I don't want to hear people tell me I'm lucky I had a premie. </p>
