We use this line of containers. It keeps food warm up to 7 hours. I also have their containers for water, ice cubes won't melt well over 15 hours. I love it.

We have the foogoo thermos containers for food and here's what I found - food actually stays warm when the container is full of food - so if I filled it with pasta it would actually stay warm until lunch time. My friends use it for their school aged kids and they say they fill the thermos container with hot water to warm up the container and then fill it with food and that keeps the food really warm until lunch time.

I bought those silicone cupcake liners and use those as my separators so I can stack food on the thermos. So I'll put pasta at the bottom, drop in a liner and fill with steamed veggies and then drop in another liner and put chicken nuggets or roasted chicken or whatever meat. It works well and the liners are good for when she actually eats her meal as little serving separators

ETA: so my DH packed a lunch for our nephew and put some cut up hot dog in a container and it was cold by lunch bc it barely filled the container. So just be sure to fill it up

Organickidz has a bottle type thermos and a food container thermos.
I have the bottle and it actually keeps water warm for at least hours as advertised! We haven't used the food thermos yet, but based on my experience with the bottles you bet i would when the time comes.
