I think part of it was his age and part is the incentives. He also has to take a half dose of miralax each day. Even on that he was still holding it for almost a week.<br /> So in the past month we started rewarding them with a trip to the toy store alone with their dad. My other boys had to go five times before going to the store. He saw them get to have some one on one time with dad and get to pick a toy. A first he was really sad but he really wanted to poop in the toilet so he could go to the store too. It took almost a half an hour of him crying and jumping off and on the toilet until finally he went. We didn't make him do it five time we just took him right away for the first time. Since then he actually tries to poop so he can work up to a toy. It helps that his brothers get to go and they get something he wants so he tries harder. I'm hoping between his reasoning at age four and getting to go with dad to the store that he might get over his fear. </p> <p>@MrsCastro: I might have to try those, or paint one on. I am pretty sure my bathrooms are destined to smell like pee forever. I have even considered putting in a urinal.</p> <p>@Mrs. Blue: doing it with one is no easy feat. Two is even harder because it is constant accidents. Even for my oldest that was so afraid to poop (major constipation problems) is going in the toilet. Thank god. We have been accident free for about a week. </p> <p>Now if I could just get them to aim better and stop peeing all over the floor I would be set. </p>
