I was a barista in Grand Central Station, and we had such a high volume of customers that people would either take the wrong drink, when they were tired of waiting, or random people would take drinks (who hadn't paid for anything). Not just the coffee shops. I just ask them to ring me up when I see that they're just waiting. I hate it. I just stood here like an idiot for two minutes while a barista made a latte. Meanwhile I blocked the whole line since the other barista was doing the same thing.</p> <p>There's another place I go to that does the same thing, except they also serve food that takes 6-8 minutes to cook. *head explodes*</p> <p>I don't get it... can someone help me understand the logic?
