Getting out of the house with the two kids. Getting them both dressed warmly enough, figuring out who to do first (toddler shoes and coat on, or baby into car seat or carrier, etc). Then getting them down the stairs without the toddler or me falling down a flight. Then into the car or stroller. I'm always sweating at the end. Then I have to do the whole thing in reverse when we get home and back up the stairs.

Diaper changes. He hides, he runs, he screams, he cries... If he just lets us change his diaper it's a special event. Oh!! But daycare doesn't know what the F I'm talking about cause apparently he doesn't do that there.

existing. LOL. no, but really. Supposedly now that they're bigger, things should be easier, like meals and dressing. But it's like herding cats -- or getting cats to use silverware and put on their own jammies.

Eating. DS has always been a crap eater - bottles, solids, self-feeding. He just isn't a big eater and not food motivated (outside growth spurts) so I'm constantly worried about whether he's eating enough, what he will or wont eat on a given day, etc. JUST EAT.

Diaper changes. He still gets pissed off at them at 16 months. WHY!?

he goes through phases where i have to chase him with a toothbrush and he keeps his mouth wired shut versus standing there like a pro with his mouth wide open stating he doesn't want cavities.

basically anything can be a challenge (or the easiest task in the world) from diapers to getting dressed to coming to the table to eat - all depends on the day and his mood and personal preference at that moment in time.

Putting mittens and a jacket on LO. He HATES mittens.

Also, diaper changes. He's so strong and won't sit still. Oh and getting him in the car seat when he is doing the stiff fish flop arc thing where he won't sit down. That's my favorite. I'm always sweating by the end!

Getting out of the house with all the stuff I need to take in the morning - E, E's coat, the dog, my handbag and ny laptop bag, house keys to lock up. If I try to do it all at once, it's a disaster but if I try to do it in several trips, its a nightmare - if I take E ir the dog first, they set off the car alarm by wiggling, if I don't, E starts trashing the house or the dog hides. If I take them together, someone is running into the road while I get the other in..... DH says I make it all look so difficult when its really easy, but I don't find it easy!

There are a few things that seem to be rather difficult for me to manage, when I don't think they should be! A few examples are: buckling my youngest into her car seat...she does NOT sit still, slouches, tries to reach for things, etc. I'm usually sweating by the end of it! Brushing teeth is another one, mostly for my youngest again but sometimes my oldest too...they like to make that task really difficult. LO2 doesn't give me a hard time with this but when it comes to DH changing her diaper, she makes sure she is in constant movement...kind of like the car seat deal.

Are there simple tasks that seem to be difficult, for one reason or another?
