I can't recommend it highly enough. You must go there. </p> <p>The Seneca Park Zoo is also good - small enough not to be overwhelming for a little one but big enough to have some fun exhibits. </p> <p>Powers Farm Market (in Pittsford) is also worth a visit. They always have stuff going on. </p> <p>Your LO might be too small to really enjoy it yet but the Genesee Country Village museum is interesting and often has events. The Rochester &amp; Genesee Valley Railroad Museum does Fall foliage rides on real trolleys and trains. </p> <p>Cummings Nature Center is nice. Bristol Mountain is great with kids once there's snow. Ganondagon is a restored Seneca village and they sometimes have storytelling events and such things that might be fun. </p> <p>Definitely get out and about and enjoy all the many parks in the area. Letchworth is a personal favourite outside the city, Highland Park within. </p> <p>Places that might be cool for mom &amp; dad but short enough not to totally wind LO up include Eastman House and Artisan Works. Oh and the Susan B Anthony House. </p> <p>I have more ideas if you'll be there in the Summer months. Rochester is my "American" home. It's a great little city for families.
