My LO is 7 months old so I hadn't really thought of this yet...but, now that I am thinking about it....I agree the baby kisses, clapping when she's excited, the little look she gets in her eye when she crawls over to something she wants...

Walking in to get her when she wakes up from a nap and is such a warm, cuddly little bundle in her sleep sack.

DH and I find ourselves sometimes looking forward to the future: oh it'll be so fun when he's in sports, going to his games... Oh it'll be great when he's old enough to go on vacation and enjoy it... I'm excited to do more activities with him etc... Especially DH who wants to play sports and build things with DS.

But part of me feels sad thinking about it because there are so many little things about babyhood I'll miss.

Most of all ill miss the baby kisses- they are the sweetest thing ever. So pure and innocent.
I'll miss the newness of everything: he started walking two weeks ago and it just cracks us up watching him waddle around the house. Everytime he learns something new It's so amazing.
I will miss how he claps for himself when he's proud of himself- so precious.

What will you miss as your child gets older?
