I doubt that was hiccups then. They were more like a ticking clock type rhythm. I never felt that fast fluttering type feeling, but I've heard other people say they did. But I did start feeling my first kid pretty early- I think I was around 15 weeks, and if you have twins, it's probably more crowded and easier to feel them I would think. The first time my husband could feel kicks on the outside I was 19 weeks.

How far are you? Hiccups always felt like tapping to me because it was the only rhythmic movement my daughter made.

so i was lying flat on my back with my legs stretched out. i was just comfortable when all of a sudden, i felt this really really fast tapping on my right side. at first, i wasn't sure what was going on. but then, i started thinking that this was one of my babies! so i was all excited for a few seconds, until i realized how quickly it was tapping. faster than a fetal heartbeat. so then, i started thinking that the baby was very upset at me re: the position i was in and i thought maybe i was choking the baby or something. so i turned over to the left and the tapping slowed down. but i still felt it! it was weird! i've never ever felt that before so i THINK it was the baby..... wishful thinking?
