We also haven't had issues with the microfiber. Our diapers (1/2 of which I bought used) have been in rotation for 25 months and we've had them professionally stripped twice and still haven't had issues.

@autumnlove: @Mrs. Pickle: We have really hard water so over time they just have really bad build up and get really crunchy and not absorbent (compression leaks). BG just wore down really fast for us. I also used the Charlie Banana MF which weren't bad as well as the AppleCheeks double sided MF (one side is fleece so it can go against the skin) and both held up much better. But in general I found the natural fibers to be much easier to care for and held up much better.

I'm also curious what the complaints are. I've had no problem with the microfiber so far. It seems really absorbant!

We've been happy with the Bumgenius microfiber inserts (both pockets and the sewn-in AIOs) - LO turns 15 months this week. I did pick up a 6-pack of bamboo inserts to use as doublers for long car rides in case she sleeps and we don't want to wake her. Working well for us!

No issues with microfiber for us. What are some of the complaints?

I use prefolds when I run out of microfiber inserts.

Yes I would look for black Friday deals! I had much more luck with baby #2 and bamboo AppleCheeks versus the BG MF

Instead getting CBI (charcoal bamboo) or using cotton prefold or inserts.

I'm on Fluff love FB group and I've just heard so many complaints about the microfiber inserts.

Anyone do this?

My LOs are still in BG newborn AIOs so we have a little while before I need to switch to my OS pocket and AIO diapers. I'm thinking of getting used inserts or seeing if there are any upcoming Black Friday deals.
