So my issue is specific—I don’t wear them alone, just as a backup with a tampon because my plateletes were low for over a year, so my blood wasn’t clotting which creates nightmare periods where I had constant leakage no matter what, and even enormous overnight pads were not working. And this is super disgusting but oh well—my issue was, even if I washed the blood out immediately, and the panties *looked* clean, when I wore them again, this nasty smell would come out when the area got...warm. I know, gross. So I was tossing panties left and right, many pairs each cycle. </p> <p>These I don’t have to toss.
