I would just take meds - even something OTC like zantac. They're safe and work well - much better than tums or dietary changes. With my first, she was breech so her head was right on my stomach. I was very sick the last 6 weeks or so. This head down baby is sitting much better so it's not nearly as bad, but I still have heartburn and some nausea.

I had terrible heartburn throughout both of my pregnancies. (And still ended up with 2 baldies! :silly: ) I honestly didn't notice any correlation with any foods and still ate spicy stuff, dairy, etc because it didn't seem any better with other food. I kept Tums everywhere - in the car, in my office, in my bedroom, in my kitchen. Probably the best calcium intake of my life.

As for the fullness, sorry, that sucks. For the last couple of months I was able to eat normally during morning and lunch but had a hard time eating anything after 4-5 and the only thing that always sounded good was cereal so I had a bowl of cereal for dinner almost every night. I tried to keep my calories up in the morning to make up for it.

I had the worst heartburn with my first. It was soooo miserable.

My biggest recommendations - don't eat dairy (or at least not a lot), drink almond milk, and tums smoothies.

Dairy feels good at first, but the acid your stomach makes to digest it causes heartburn.

DD1 sat way way far back inside and while at the end I had less room for food I didn't have too many issued aside from some heartburn. This baby seems to be sitting further forward and at 33 weeks I constantly feel hungry and like I'm going to vomit with some out of this world heartburn. I feel my most okay-ish after having my morning breakfast smoothie. Everything else makes me feel sick and still unsatisfied. Anyone bhave any tips on how to make it the next 7 weeks? What am I supposed to eat?
