wow! this is interesting. As much as Mavi loves my iphone and ipad, he loves books. so gets how to turn pages. He actually loves books more. so that's a win :D

I let my daughter watch youtube clips of Yo Gabba Gabba on my phone when we're waiting for service at restaurants, so she figured out she could press the screen to make them start/stop. A few months ago the show she was watching on the TV was interrupted by a severe weather warning and she kept pushing the TV screen to make it go again. It cracked me up! It's so interesting to see them try to apply their knowledge in one arena in another, even when it doesn't work.

haha that's hilarious. my 3 yo has also tried to touch the screen on my MacBookPro... Especially the icons in the dock, but she learned right away that it's different. It is amazing how kids are with technology. Last week on my ipad, she started typing her own name to create a username for a Dora app.

Holy ****, this one-year-old is using iPad gestures on a paper magazine and confused why it's not working:

http://news.cnet.com/8301-17852_3-20120086-71/1-year-old-thinks-a-magazine-is-a-broken-ipad/

Charlie is obsessed with iPads, and I could totally see him doing the same thing. He is constantly touching the monitors of our computers, and is shocked when nothing happens. I guess windows and mice are for old people, and all the hip babies are using touchscreens.

OMG, will progress just chill out for a minute so I can catch up?? K, thanks.

Anyone else amazed at how kids just soak up technology?
