@scg00387: @hellobeeboston: We now have transitioned to a belly sleeper. She finally figured how to be comfortable and slept great last night. I put her down on her back, she went her side right away. And then eventually to her belly. She did fuss a little at first, but worked it out herself. One wake up to eat and right back into the crib. She was on her belly when she woke up this morning and flipped right over when I walked in to get her. I am glad this didn't too long.

@PrincessBaby: So not the right time to point out his opinion. How does your nanny put H down for naps, maybe your DH could take over bedtime after you feed her and she won't need to nurse all the time. I am sure if H smells you she is going to want the boob, mybe DH would have better luck (without CIO though).

Omg. If I give you my address, will someone please come and bang me upside the head with a pot or something to put me out of my misery? Roller Derby Girl has woken herself up 6x already!!! It's not even 10! Gaaaaahhh!!!

I nurse to sleep and in the middle of my obvious frustration with her continually waking up and me having to go get her and nurse her some more to get her back to sleep (this has been constant for 2 hours!) , DH thinks that's a FINE time to remind me that he wanted to do CIO a while ago (our ped suggested but I thought she was too young) and not nurse her to sleep, so he "doesn't know what you're complaining about." KILL HIM when you come over to whack me with a pan!!!

My LO did this and fussed, but we tried to leave him be and now he flips onto his belly and sleeps that way! I always put him in on his back but he flips pretty quickly! During the day when we are playing and he rolls onto his belly he gets pissed! So strange.

@PrincessBaby: If it is any consolation, rolling helped us in the transition to being able to put him down awake instead of asleep! He sleeps way better on his tummy now. It was a few rocky days when he was convinced he didn't know how to roll back over, but then it smoothed out.

We are official members of this club:(. H rolls to her side immediately when she hits the crib mattress even though she is asleep. And within 10 or 15 minutes of all her naps today she rolled over and then cried. I am skurrrrrred about tonight.

@PrincessBaby: C started rolling and then it was a few weeks before she started doing it in the crib, probably because she was still swaddled. She did eventually learn to roll in the swaddle (which is when we stopped). The first time I went in there and found her sleeping face first into the mattress, I about died!

I want to say it took a week before she figured out just to roll back over. lol

Wow last night was rough. She'd get on her belly and be fine for a few minutes and then just scream. I'd roll her back, she'd go right back to sleep, roll, and repeat.

@MamaMoose: She was fine on her belly one time and I would have left her like that as long as she were fine, but she slept with her face down on the mattress-it wasn't bothering her, but I couldn't leave her like that.

@mrsmenow: Right there with you. She started rolling on 4/23 and the past few nights have been awful as she rolls and gets upset, we turn her back over, she rolls again, etc and then won't go back down for an hour or more.

@PrincessBaby: for us, no. He rolled at 4.5m but didn't start having fun with it until 6m. Basically, he rolls on accident while trying to crawl I think.

This is us too! This rolling this is just...ugh! I think it might be over because the last two days, it hasn't happened. But, I don't want to exhale just yet.

@PrincessBaby: the very first time she rolled back to belly was in the crib in her sleep sack!! I woke up one morning when I heard her crying on the monitor and I took a look and she was on her belly. Sneaky devil.

@mrsmenow: @MamaMoose: Just wondering...Did they start rolling on their bellies in the crib right from the start of rolling? H pretty much won't stay on her back on her play mat, she rolls to her belly (but doesn't seem to like it there, lol) and she gets upset after a few mins on the tummy. I'm so afraid she's about to do this in the crib. She's in a sleep sack, so very possible. And I'm sorry you're dealing with this!!!!

Ugh rolling totally messed with sleep for us too. If she rolls on her belly in her sleep all is good because she actually sleeps better that way. But if she rolls and wakes herself up she freaks out! Somehow she totally forgot that she knows how to roll belly to back!
