@birdofafeather: agreed... I feel like that's what I'm gonna remember about ds' baby phase. I'd just let him get sick too but the things she's bringing home are terrible on her so I can only imagine him...and he's already gotten her stuff once and it sucked being the ones with the newborn in the hospital, although I'm grateful he was ok. I just yearn for one baby only days with him, which of course makes me feel sooooooo guilty. I see all the people out with their babies in strollers or carriers and feel like my life is a freakin circus.

We were finally all better and then DD1 threw up some time in the middle of the night last night and again this morning. She also had a fever. Keeping her away from DD2 the last 3 months basically is exhausting.

My toddler isn't even in preschool or daycare and she has still been sick so frequently! I share your frustration on being home bound constantly with a toddler who still needs to tire herself out and a baby who always needs something. It's just exhausting.

We started preschool in September....and today is the first day since Thanksgiving that everyone in my house is healthy. I have literally been to the paediatrician every weeks since November. It's awful.

My son started daycare in the beginning of January and had some transition days before Xmas and he's literally been sick for a month straight and I can't count how many bottles of Tylenol and Advil we've gone through. I'm told it's just how it is but DH and I are so fed up!!

My dd has been sick >60% of this month (January). Sick as in having a fever most of that time. She had a fever a few days before xmas, then croup with fever for over a week (eta which is according to the ER handout when it would usually clear up...), and is now on day four after being in preschool for three days this past week (we were out of town and before that was holiday break so it'd been a month!)

Previously she has had quite a few colds from her activities but only started preschool in September. They didn't usually come with fevers. I feel so cooped up and between her and my almost 4 month old it's like someone is constantly crying, all day long, and there are many night wakeups too. I'm to the point where I want to take her out of preschool but I don't think that's the right thing to do here, especially because I'll be working soon and she'll need childcare anyway.

Eta, I'm in school now so I'm supposed to be doing my work during her preschool hours, and grandma was going to watch lo2 once a week or so. I've already had to drop one class but I'm still in 3.
