I wouldn't be shocked if my mom had asked a stranger this before. She certainly asks to hold her favorite baby at church every single Sunday - different because they know each other, obviously, but still. Some people, especially of older generations, think that they are just helping out. I was totally shocked. I had no idea what to say. I just told her she just ate, and I still needed to burp her, smiled, and walked away. I would never ask to hold a strangers baby! And her friend or sister or whoever, said to the woman who asked to hold her "Oh then you'll have to share her with mom!" Referring to the 3rd older lady with them. Ummm, my baby is not going to be passed around to strangers. Sorry! </p>
