I guess drive-by shooters don't care what time of day it is. I can't imagine the pain this family and community is feeling. I had not heard about it and I am from the Baltimore suburbs. However, I really haven't had the tv on in a couple days (I get most of my news via radio during my commute). I used to nanny for a family in that neighborhood. Some areas just outside that area are a little sketchy, so at night I was always extra careful going to my car...in fact, the father would usually walk me even when I protested that an escort was unnecessary. I definitely heard gunfire at night when I would sleep there. All that is besides the point though...this kind of crap happens way to often, all over the place. It's not the first time a child in Bmore has been killed by stray bullets...I can think of several in recent years.
