We have to be so careful with what we say because she picks up on everything. She listens so intently to any adult conversations that go on around her and deliberately seeks out new and interesting words.</p> <p>When we read The Night Before Christmas, she got hung up for about 5 minutes on what a "Clatter" was and how to use it. Now she uses it in regular conversation.</p> <p>I will admit that it is a self-fulfilling cycle.
