I've never had an issue but I tend to use it (oxiclean) on lighter colors or white clothes. I usually do an extra rinse so maybe that would help?

I've had this problem with Shout brand spray as well, so I wonder if they have a similar ingredient?

I try to treat then launder as soon as possible, but that kind of defeats the purpose, I think. I don't know if they still make it, but you used to be able to by Shout stain stick, it was like solid detergent. That stuff was the bomb.

I've never used oxiclean to spot clean. But I've used a hydrogen peroxide + dawn solution lately.

I've actually never had hole issues with h&m adult or kids. But yet I've gotten holes in gap!

@mediagirl: I haven't noticed it, but now I'm paranoid - her clothes get super stained so I use Oxyclean constantly :(

I use zout and have never had this problem (doesn't answer your question but maybe that's an alternative?)

I've found that using any stain treatment on fluorescent colors, especially pink, sucks the color right out! I damaged 2-3 pieces of clothing with shout spray before realizing what was happening. :(

Did you ever see wear in the spots where you treated it? I treated some of M's shirts from H&M with an Oxyclean paste the other day and when they came out of the dryer, one had a little hole in it that wasn't there before. Curious if it's the clothing line or the treating process?
