I've heard a lot of good things about a brand from Finland called Reima, but Polarn o. Pyret and Didrikson's are also popular here. I ended up getting mid-season suit from Reima and I really like it - it's light and very well made. Next year, I'm definitely keeping an eye out for their sale. The PO.P snowsuit I got is pretty heavy, but seems really sturdy, plus I couldn't beat their sale price!
