I don't know if it was just a coincidence but her crying dropped from 10 hrs/day to 2-3 hrs. It's a powder that we add to bottles or purées. We started because he was on multiple rounds of antibiotics for ear infections. I remember running out to Walgreens to stock up all the time! It helped a lot with gas/tummy issues. They are expensive, but I was willing to pay a $1/day (what it evens out to) if it would give me a little sanity. We tried stopping them at one point and within a few days he was worse again.
