We use the Halo swaddles and are so, so happy with them. DD has always liked kicking her legs (it helps her get the gas out) and the great thing about the Halos is that they have tons of room for her to move her legs around whilst still keeping her upper body swaddles.

We're just coming out of winter (although winter here is super mild) so she's always slept with a short sleeved onesie, a long sleeved sleeper, and then her swaddle. On really cold nights, we would place a blanket over the swaddle and tuck it into the bottom and sides of the cot. We never double swaddled though.

I used SwaddleMe the first two months or so and then went to the miracle blanket. It worked really well until he outgrew it length-wise. So now I use the miracle blanket without the foot part and have him wear a sleep sack underneath. It does get a bit on the warm side but he hasn't complained much about it. I just put a short sleeve onsie on. Plus, I have air circulating in the room so that helps.

We used the SwaddleMe velocro blanket (plus an extra Aden & Anais on top for extra warmth) for the first several months. Then one day I decided to try the Halo Sleep Sack on a whim. DD started sleeping through the night the very next night, and we never looked back.

We were doing an A&A blanket, then the summer infant overtop in just a diaper for a while. When that got to hot, someone on here suggested I google "double swaddle" and it s a great way to use one A&A blanket sort of like a miracle blanket. It kept her in until we stopped swaddling at 5 months, and it was cooler than doubling up.

We use the Summer Infant SwaddleMes (the velcro ones) and a short-sleeved onesie. It's pretty hot, so I think we'll do without the onesie until it cools down.

We used the miracle blanket from 2 weeks until about 3.5 mos. She broke out of every other kind of swaddle. Now we're using the Woombie because she breaks out of the Miracle Blanket.

During the summertime i left her in her diapers and double swaddled her in the miracle blanket and a+a blanket. My LO also used her fingers to self soothe so i left one arm out. I also discovered that her love of kicking was what got herself out of the swaddle so i had to leave her legs out of the miracle blanket but swaddled in the a+a blanket. Complicated sounding, i know but it worked!

Now that it's getting a bit chilly and her room is 72 degrees, i still double swaddle her in a sleeper and she has been fine.

For naps we would do a double swaddle with an a+a blanket and at night we did something called the 'escape proof swaddle' where his arms where held with an a+a blanket and then he went in a summer infant Velcro swaddle (in just his diaper).

We had a woombie but never used it much either. We started using the cotton summer infant swaddlers and I initially loved them. Now that she's bigger and stronger she breaks out of them in no time and I find it a pain to get on her when she's wiggly. We've since started using a Halo and I'm really happy with it. Its fleece, but on cold nights I drape an extra blanket over her.

When we double swaddled with A&A blankets we too just kept my son in his diaper and swaddled over that so he wouldn't overheat. It worked great for us. When using a miracle blanket, we would put my son in a cotton sleeper.

We keep it at 7. His bedroom is the front and sun rises/sets that direction ( yes we have blackout shades).

The nurses in the hospital taught me to double swaddle...he is a huge self soother with his hands.

We used the summer infant swaddle me (the Velcro ones) until around 11 weeks when he would just bust out. Then we started using the miracle blanket. He still busts out by morning but we have never double swaddled.

I've been double swaddling LO at night but I don't put him in clothes, he gets too hot. I've also been double swaddling using a & a blankets.

How do you swaddle your LO and what do you use? We tried the newborn pods but he hated those and regular blankets seem much better.
