My cycles are on average 34 days, but can range from 34 - 38 days, and probably O later than the standard mid-cycle time frame. We got a BFP on our own.

My cycles were regularly 36-40 days and we just conceived on the 2nd cycle of actively trying. I just used OPK's for a couple months to pinpoint O....I actually O really late- around cd24! I was constantly worried it would take us forever, but we are lucky it didn't. Sending positive thoughts your way!

I used OPKs so i knew when i O'd (which was later) and i conceived on my 3rd cycle off BCP! I actually think it may have been the first month i really ovulated, or at least the first month i had a strong O (stronger symptoms, much darker OPKs).

a few weeks before we got pregnant, my doc told me i would need clomid in order to get pregnant because of my long cycles, because i likely wasn't ovulating strongly enough, if at all. but apparently my body had something else in mind, it was a very pleasant surprise (shock!)

My cycles are usually 34-45 days, but I have had some doozy 89 day cycles. I just ovulate later. I temped my cycles for a long time, and when we ttc, it took 4 months. The last month, I used ovulation tests as well as temping.

My cycles are 35-42 days and without charting, using OPKs, or using any other means of TTC, we got pregnant on our first go. I too am a bit nervous about getting pregnant with the next one but I'm still BF'ing and I've only had two cycles pp, neither one of which I think was ovulatory, but I could be wrong. I'm scared that we're not going to be that lucky twice.

My cycles were 34-40 days and I got pregnant the first cycle. It just changed up calculating my due date (from last menstrual period) because I ovulated later.

I don't have pcos but I had very long cycles for some reason, so I was in metformin. It was great and we had no problems.

I have long cycles but am pretty regular. It's just more annoying if you are actively TTC and counting days to ovulate, days in the TWW, days to test, etc... This is why I think shorter cycles are better for impatient people, like myself! However, regularity plays a more important role than cycle length I think. Anyway, we got pregnant pretty easily with our kids, both when NTNP for #1 and TTC for #2 (within 2 cycles).

Mine were 35+, took 15 months to get pregnant with DD. I did BBT, charting, digital OPKs and acupuncture and then Clomid. We got pregnant after one round of Clomid.

Mine were 29-60 days. It regulated quite nicely to 30-32 days for most of TTC but no luck. It worked on month 12 on what woul have been a 42 day cycle (which was my first long cycle in 10 months). Go figure.

Mine varied all over from 30 days to 50+. We NTNP for 5 months and then I used ovulation tests for 3 months, we got pregnant the 8th month. That last month I used the digital ovulation tests and I think that made a big difference since my cycle was so wacky. I was super worried we would have issues but in the end there was no real issues. I think it is just natural to worry about it.

It took me 13 months (7-8 cycles I think), but that was with a m/c after getting pregnant in cycle 3. My cycles were really long though (45-50 days). My advice would be to have a doctor that is willing to help if it does take awhile. My doctor didn't want to prescribe clomid or anything because of my age (23), so I just had to wait it out. The worst part was having to wait so long to ovulate (got pregnant on CD 32 the first time and CD 33 this time). I was very frustrated because my cycles were long before I got on BC as a teenager (used it to regulate cycles), so I knew something wasn't "right" but my doctor did blood work and nothing obvious came up.

The worst part is having less chances to conceive due to long cycles,, but lots of people get pregnant on their first few tries! I did, but I miscarried. The next time just took longer.

Mine are long, consistently 35+ days or so. O was just delayed, sometimes until day 21 or so. But, with charting and temping I was able to find O, and that was all we needed. I never used opks.

Good luck!

How hard was it to conceive? I had been on BC for 13 years prior to getting pregnant with DD. I haven't been on since and my cycles are around 39 days. I'm scared it will mean I need medical intervention if I want to have another.

What has your experience been?
