We both bought our houses with the intention of staying for 10-15+ years. I love both Laura and Lauren. DH nixed Laura but I can't remember if I asked him about Lauren. My best friend in high school was named Lauren (and she's still a good friend now), so it has a positive association for me. I don't love the alliteration with Louise, but it's not terrible. My husband initially said "maybe" to Clara, but then when I told him it was my pick, he said he didn't think he liked it. I asked why and he didn't have a reason.
