That doesn't make any sense - germs that come through the NoseFrieda are not airborne. The only reason the grade of filter would make a big difference is if you're sucking so much snot that the snot itself is pushed physically up against the filter. When I use it, the snot stays down in the very tip of the tube, nowhere near the filter. And it works, no matter how much she hates it. I guess this is the mom in me, but I'd rather the grossness be on my end (sucking her germs into my mouth) than her (using a bulb that cannot be properly cleaned). </p> <p>@yellowbird: you have to suck really, really hard. At least I do. Heehee - it would be so easy to work in my lab, if all I needed was a sponge to keep my stuff sterile. Having said that - I normally catch colds from her anyways - kisses, slobbers, she keeps wiping her boogers on me. So, I figure I'm doomed anyways. Darn, I really liked it too...now I keep wondering if that's why I've been sick so much lately! </p>
