I have a legacy, I only have 1 convertible car seat but I can’t imagine fitting more than 2 in the back.

@bhbee: like Elbiekay said, the car seat lady recommends the booster kid sliding into the booster while leaving the seat belt buckled I think that might be what we end up doing when LO3 is ready to move into LO1s convertible car seat.

@bhbee: I just watched a video where a 6yo just climbs in and out of the booster by slipping under the seat belt without buckling/unbuckling it. That might be an option especially if it's not for everyday use.

@MsMini: thanks! I am thinking the key may be to put my booster kid back in a harness while she visits my mom. Buckling that booster becomes impossible!

My mom is looking to buy a new car and we will need 3 car seats by this summer. Infant bucket, ff harness (right now have a frontier) and a booster (have the Evenflo Amp). She doesn’t need the space day to day, just a couple times a year, so trying to find something where 3 across is doable (not too hard to install so she could potentially do it herself) and car isn’t huge for every day - no van or suv. At a minimum needs to fit 5 plus luggage. We are willing to buy new car seats as needed.

Subaru Legacy is high on the list - anyone have one? Other ideas for great smallish family car for three across? Seat recommendations? Thanks!!
