Case in point: our garden wheelbarrow. We could have paid $200 for a "name brand" wheelbarrow but like I told DH, it's not like we intend to hand it down to our kids one day! Plus we don't have acreage, so it's not like we'll use it that often. Another example: my sewing machine. It's multicolored stripes from an unknown brand.
