<description>&#60;p&#62;My daughter went through this phase. We started offering her a bowl on her tray just for her to put discarded food into. If she threw something we would firmly say, &#34;we do not throw food. If you're done with it you can put it in your bowl&#34;.  This definitely helped stop the throwing, and sometimes shed even change her mind and eat food from the bowl. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;We do still offer her more food options if she isn't eating enough, but only healthy options (fruit, veg, milk). (She is 21 months now)

<description>&#60;p&#62;At what age do you think is reasonable to end mealtime when a toddler throws food, instead of offering something different that you know they like? My 15 month old has started throwing food but I don't know if he'd &#34;get it&#34; as a consequence. Plus I feel guilty if he barely eats any supper!
