That’s what I’m hoping. In the hospital they had her on zofran so I think that’s why she was fine. The weird thing is she’s only throwing up at night. Today she’ll only drink water and nurse, so her stomach must be upset

My son had his circumcision done at 8 months. Surgery went well and he was fine during the recovery time for couple hours. He also BF while there. After we were finally discharged (had to wait through a Tornado warning), as we were walking to the parking lot, he threw up. We walked back and then he threw up multiple times so much he was admitted overnight for dehydration. Only explanation was some kids don't react very well to anesthesia.

I just called and spoke to the on call urologist resident and he said it was really odd and he’d talk to her doctor in the morning. He had no more advice really 😞

DD (14 months) had pyeloplasty surgery (kidney surgery) Friday early morning. She’s doing great and was discharged Saturday afternoon. She’s eating and acting normal. Saturday night and then tonight at around 11pm (after being asleep about 3 hours), she woke up projectile vomiting. Each night it’s only happened once and she seems fine after. She is on a new antibiotic for her (keflex) but dose was about 12 hours before the throw up. Last night I called the on call urologist and he wasn’t worried, thought maybe residual reaction to the anesthesia, but now it’s happened again. I’ll call her urologist tomorrow but any insight? Can it be an allergy to the antibiotic that long after she takes it?
